Inspired by some of John Howe's Lord of the Rings paintings.
She does have a face, though it's not very visible..I didn't want to outline it or put heavy shading in. Plus it's very small so it ended up somewhat indecisive -_-;.
i love the background and all..and the rock looks sorta fakish, but it doesnt ruin anything at all!!but one more thing..she doesnt have a face o.0
well I didn't plan on making it dream-like, but I've already been told about the rock, it is difficult to spot.. I just didn't realize that when making it . Thank you for looking !
love ur background...
can't kinda explain the scenery...
keep it up!
It's got a great 'dream-like'quality to it. The only thing that I don't think works too well is the woman's face. I think the picture would have been more dramatic and mysterious if she was looking towards the mountain in the distance and her gorgeous red hair obscured the side of her face. In a lot of dreams you wake up and remember seeing a beautiful woman but you can never quite remember exactly what she looked like.
And the left hand side of the rock she is sitting on isn't distinct enough or seperated enough from the middleground hills. The rock looks like it flows into the hills and creates a sort of dichordant perspective effect. Maybe that gives the picture it's dreamlike look though?
