At some point in life we must leave the dragon in the woods.
Thanks James There's no rush my friend take all the time you need
Thanks Matthew Like yourself I like to learn from looking and I borrowed this colour scheme from a picture that impressed me at the time
Superb work, Bill, the whole image just speaks volumes about childhood and it's fading magic as we grow older......gawd! better hurry now too with a certain mutual project before much longer
I like the colours in this Bill And the picture as a whole is really nice. Quite often when I look at the work of other artists things jump out as particularly well done. For me in this picture I'm really impressed with the foreground tree on the right side and the purple you used for the snow in shadow. It's great the way it works with the Orange of the sunset and I really like it. The other thing that caught my eye is the way you have wrapped the light from the sun around one of the branches. All things I will try to remember in the futur. what a great place epilogue is! You can learned so much from just looking. Thanks bill.
Thanks Pierre My own daughter inspired me for this one, but sadly she's growing up fast
Thanks Plenty of room in the garage perhaps?
I love the concept and colors/composition
Beautiful piece, very emotional. My daughter is growing older now, and with each day passing I see her leaving more and more dragons in the wood to enter adulthood. It is nice but sad at the same time, so I relate very much to this piece. Thank you.
Awww, very cute.
lovely and cute piece. Should work as a book illustration very well. -- I'd still take that thing home though..
