An illustration for the May 2002 issue of Cricket Magazine.
breath taking! It's like a beautiful dream to stay found in.
This one, i don't really know what to say. I could just sit and stare at it for hours. It's so bright and happy, and it has a very soft and calming effect on me. I usually hate all kinds of bugs, so i really shouldn't like it. But you've even managed to make the insects look very pretty. What can i say? Wonderful.
I just finished another Cricket piece which will be out in February of next year. Can't post it just yet but when I get the okay, I'll post it on my brand new web site. I don't think it's fantasy enough for Eilogue!
I grew up reading Cricket. Its a wonderful magazine, and this beautiful image is more than worthy to grace its pages.
Very, VERY nice! It's got a bit of a Rackham flavour to it, and the faery's wings are lovely! I had to do a double-take when I saw it was coloured pencil - it looks almost like watercolour!
I ussually dislike art with farie/ cute insect themes but this truely is fantastic. Excellent work!! It remindes me of where the wild things are meets realism.
fully deserves to be editors pic.congratulations because that is no easy feat youve achieved
Well, great work. I like it very much.
It looks a bit like some old Chinese fine work, particularly the color.
I am charmed! I can't wait to show this to my children .....
