Artwork Description

Basically I draw from my own mind although in a way she still looks like a woman I saw in some book. I guess her eyes hypnotized me. Mainly I practiced with pastel chalks, the dusty grainy medium can be manipulated in many ways

Yes, this picture you saw in Kevyn Aucoin's book "Making Faces", but the girl's name is Jaime Rishar (photographed by Michael Thompson). Beautiful likeness, Gal Angelo. Well done!

very nicely done, i love her lips and the shine you've done on them, and her eyes look very real and warm as well, great job, keep up the good work!

The picture you saw in the book Socar, is of Gwynth Paltrow, in the late kevin Aucoin's book, Making Faces. Beautiful reproduction with a twist- Sarma
