Artwork Description

Joniban Surgin, the Mad Elf, strides away from the wreckage he has caused, a sense of satisfaction in his work stirring his dark heart.
This was my first D&D character, has been an npc in several incarnations, and is now the star of a book -and possibly comic- that I may manage to finish someday. He's also the inspiration for my company name - Mad Elf Enterprises.
(This painting was actually submitted and approved previously, but in later consideration there were elements I was not happy with. So I took the picture off my gallery until I could do some additional work on it)

This a powerful image, very skillfully rendered, but I think the moral of the story here is, never strike a match when a wizard passes gas!! *just kidding* I thought I'd leave you a silly comment. Smile

I watched this image progress on the WIP forum and i have to say you did an -awesome- job. To look at the original drawing and look at this is just a world of improvement. Way to go! Smile

Art at its best.
