This image is yet another of my cinematic-inspired images. Wacom drawn in PS 7.
I have spent a long time here, savoring your most excellent depictions of realm folk. This is me you have painted, but whith hair as white as a wise woman... Thank You Sir~~~ Belle
Hi Holger! It's still a work in progress, I need to think of some ways to spice it up!
Hello Jackie, and thank you for the comments! I added some embroidery to her robe, and sharpened things up a bit, but this has been one of my more frustrating pieces lately. It came out more boring than I expected, and seems very plain. I need to stick with armor! When it comes to clouds, if you are using Photoshop, the Smudge tool is your friend. I do layer upon layer while smudging in a circular motion. Socar Myles has a great tutorial on her website for the cloud painting!
I agree with Jackie, compared to your other portraits this one looks still unfinished. Still working on it?
This is good, but I find myself missing the intricate details that you have in the other images in this series you're doing. At least, I'm assuming it's a series since it's all the same type of layout and all women. But things like the details in the armor or weapons in your other images really give them a professional and more realistic look. What about, for example, some embroidery around the edges of her robe? Just a thought. And as usual, the sky looks great Do you have any pointers for digitally painting clouds?
