Thank you Antti, yes I like to vary and experiment with different types of surfaces, this one was done on heavy light grey cartridge which helps to enhance the white penciled areas...Love your work, great stuff!

many wonderful details I can rest my eye on Smile Impressive technique. your works look like you used coloured paper...or there's a great amount of layers there. Anyways..I like this a lot.

Thanks Harmony, I seem to be going through a fairy tale period at the moment, and comments like yours inspire me to continue till the project is complete...oh! and I love your art

What I love best about this image is how you've portrayed the beast.. he looks kind and gentle, but at the same time undoubtably hairy, scratchy, and snuffly. This image brings home for me the true romance in the fairy tale.. how much must Beauty have loved this creature to stay with him when she could have returned home. Lovely work technically too, especially the skin tone, fabric and glass.

Jamie - you're colored pencils are stunning - I love this piece! I had to go to your site to see your work - I couldn't wait for epilogue to upload. It was worth the effort!

Thanks for the nice words Jessica, actualy I use watercolour pencils because they have stronger colours and you can add water here and there for different effects

I'm just learning colored pencil and this work has inspired me. It's realistic yet you don't lose the texture and spontaneity of the pencilstrokes. Wonderful!
