I don't remember seeing anyone use coloured pencils with quite as much skill as you show here James. Your skin tones in particular are spot on. Your gallery shows impressive work!

And another great painting James. This little mouse is such an eyecatcher! And you did Renata so beautifully! Wonderful work!

Very nice as always James. I'm always amazed at the great skin tones you achieve using colored pencils, I used to use them but mine never looked this good. Her reflection behind her is a nice touch too. Great work James.

Ha ha but of course, these little guys are the bane(maybe not) of Socar's life! Y'know Steve, I get a real blast out of these portraits fantastique (not trying to be scholarly! heh heh just love the word "fantastique") thank you, my friend.

Well Two things!!!
First!
Fantastic job Mr. McPartlin on this study.
Very good use of colored pencils and you deserve a big pat on the back for this.
Second!
You used a splendid model and you did her wonderful justice. Renata is also an upcoming talent like yourself and is a wonderful addition to the Epilogue community.
Cheers to you both!
Steve
P.S. Socars mouse is stealing some coffee.....

Art at its best.
