The Divine luster of Heaven's messenger,
Her pure gaze, her fiery words

The details in this are astounding, I really wished I had pencil skills like these. I especially admire the background work - staggering beauty.

James, I really dont know where to start to praise your work - it is fantastic! I think I love her hands, hair and chain best Smile

somerset's picture

Thank you, Dear Guest, I think this angle of her face gives her the strong confident look of a warrior rather than that of a demure maiden....after all she did lead an entire army! Smile

This is very beautiful. i love the detail on everything. I only have one critique. It appears that her chin is sticking out a bit too much. Other than that, I love the whole picture!

Hi James, exquisite detail in the face, very lifelike. I also really like that delicate chain mail, that must have been a real pain! Really great work as always!

You are still creating magical effects with coloured pencils, James. I don't know how you do it.

Art at its best.
