You've captured the freakiness of this image really well!! I would have thought that a darker sky would be scarier, but I think the twilight atmosphere really sets the scene. I like all your work, but this one is particularly interesting and well-rendered Smile

Nice line work, Storn. The movement of the grass and the halfling guy's clothing really conveys that sense of a night-time breeze.

I really wanted to be a comic book artist, but two things happened. I never made it before I went back to art school in my late 20s and in art school, I started painting. I fell in love with painting. But i have a lot of comic book art theory and practice rattling around. Thanks for the nice comment!!!

Reminds me of a scene from the books 'Huckleberry Finn' and 'Tom Soyer' (cant remember how ter spell his name) Excelent work. I like the thick lines; reminds me of a comic book pic

wow... I forgot about that scene. But yeah, I think that was what the editor was going for when he gave me the assignment. I'm glad that it could evoke some of that. Thank you for you kind words!

excellently rendered! It reminds me of a scene from the fellowship of the ring where a hobbit it hanging out of his house with his dog and the nazguls arrive.

Art at its best.
