I really needed to get some emotions out with this piece.
Part of a series.
Oh, thank you very much. Your comment means a lot to me, it really does.
This picture means a lot to me. It reminds me of my beloved. She has curvature of the spine, and is in pain a lot of the time. She also has red hair. I'm going to tell her about this. She will love your picture too.
On an artistic note, I love the way that you shaded the hair. It captures the tone variation that is so beautiful in red hair. Also, you're feet are great. I notice, 'cause I can't draw them at all! Great job!!!
Yes, it was indeed! I'm glad you like it.
This almost makes me cringe, and I'm fairly sure that was your intent. But aside from that, I love the illusion in this piece. very creative.
Thanks, Cynthia. Yeah, this is a piece with a rather vulnerable feel to it. I love how everyone has derived their own meaning from it, but every one of those meanings are each as valid and relevant as the last.
How incredibly vulnerable. The spinal cord is the lifeline of the body, and here it is presented to the world, trussed like a gift, for anyone to tear into. Absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you. That comment means so much to me. Honestly. I don't know what else to say...I'm lost for words! This piece is one of my favourites and it has a special meaning for me. I am so glad you like it, and that it brought meaning to you. Thank you, Danielle.
WoW! This piece went straight to my heart...I truly felt the emotions, the pain...the desire. Never has something tugged at my lifestrings, as this did.

Hehehe, thanks, James! Thank you for your interpretation too, I appreciate it.
mmm...A beautiful woman, but I suspect her most precious possession is something to be found deep inside, wrapped as a gift for the one who sees past the physical admiration she is so used to...oh boy! aint I deep! maybe she is just a straight laced babe! Lovely Drawing, Nell, and great thinking stuff!
Thank you, S Blix. More should be here soon.
Thank you so much, Patrick, I'm glad you like it. This piece is very personal to me, and I'm so happy with all the positive feedback I've recieved
Why thank you, Marely!
Thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate it when I get such honest and deep feedback.
mmm......... more of the gorgeous hair. .... I like this funky series you have going..... *watches for more*
I really enjoy seeing a piece that is "fantasy" in the truest sense: breaking out of the "normal" world and showing us something new. Also, on a technical level, I like the rendering style and the contrast of the firey hair.
Ohhh, ouch! Nice work Nell
Ouch!! looks like she really needs to loosen those strings a little.Beautifull fine detail for character and sheets.Beautifull nell
Very deep piece of work. As far as I can interpret this masterpiece, I get the feeling that the work is saying that even if we, as humans, say we are being honest and remove the fabrications of the falseness around us, we are still hiding something inside that no one will ever know. Just a thought. This piece could really have many diverse and different interpretations. Another one that came to mind was that the woman represents the true beauty of a person. You may see her beauty on the outside but it takes more than simply removing the layers of metaphysical and metaphorical clothing to release and see it.
