Hmm...the Grim Reaper is it? I love the detail to the gloves and the dangling key, but what is the key for?

hi erika, and thankyou so so much, well yeh I am not really active on da anymore either it has just gotten too big, oh and about the stories, I am attempting to write some myself, but have not yet completed any.

HI Kurt Laughing out loud Its me, eri-chan from DA! I'm on epilogue as of a few days ago, and since I'm no longer participating on DA, I'm glad I can still follow your work here.

As always, this is quite beautiful - I love the color scheme, and the detail on ehr dress and gloves is just beautiful. I am intrigued by the shadowy figure in the background, and the key that she holds - someone with more of a talent for writing than I should write stories to go with your paintings, since they all seem to have one to tell.....

Your work just keeps getting better and better, Kurtis. Your color values are great in this one for sure! Her skintone over that background color looks wonderful. She 'feels' so warm and alive.

The colours are absolutely gorgeous, one of your best.

This one has exactly the right "misty-graveyard-athmosphere"
Looks very ominous, even haunted... really something to be used in a horror story:) keep it up!

Very beautiful work. I love her dress and the atmosphere. It has a threatening silence somehow.

The drapings of the dress are beautiful!

Another Beauty Kurtis! Looks like you've settled into your new tablet Smile

Well thankyou so so much marley, and I had a 9 by 12 aiptek, and I loved the size but the tablet I grew out of very quickly, you cannot draw a straight line or anything, wacoms are so much smoother and I will never go back, as for me I tend to make large to medium strokes, so I need a larger tablet, just all depends on your preference.
