Artwork Description

"It's all over and I'm standin' pretty
In this dust that was a city
If I could find a souvenier
Just to prove the world was here...
And here is a PINK balloon
I think of you and let it go."

Startling composition! Amazing work with rendering of the light and shade, the details are incredible, as well as the sense of wind/cloud movement. Excellent!

This reminds me of Schindler's List, where it has the few scenes of the little girl running in the streets - how you've painted everything in tones of grey and then there's this spot of red, really powerful, but sad too. Anyways, great painting!

Beautiful lighting even though the subject is dark. A real sense of depth and space. Powerful and dramatic, I like it!

Art at its best.
