The video for "Hungry Like the Wolf" by Duran Duran...do you remember?

Although that was sort of a humorous comment, I want you to know that I really enjoy your work. Much respect!

A lesson to be learned by us all, Ken...experimentation is where it's at! stunning imagery!

Beautiful Ken, and really unusual. The color palette of the face is incredibly rich, and it works so well with the red brush strokes.

Ken, you sure can be happy to join that school - it's just great!

Thanks, Cris! No, I laid down that red area of acrylic/clear gesso first.

Stunning, Ken! No, sir, you have NOT lost it! Cooool technique. You just drew right over top a swath of acrylic?

Damn, scrounge up some moolah, Matt! Thanks, it was interesting to do....the instructor really wants us to experiment. I was walking around the studio and remembered this fabric and figured I could use colored pencil on acrylic (on the fabric). The original, by the way, is about 30 x 15 or so.

now that is really effective, and something I would never think of doing. The different mediums really work nicely together and the face is extremely well done. I'm guessing that the original really looks something, hell, if I had any money I would buy this for my wall.

Art at its best.
