Danu, Celtic goddess of the hearth. This will appear in the 2005 Sage Woman Goddess calendar.
I have to say you have a beautiful assortment of art, your tallent is out of this world. I love all of it.
Keep up the great work that you do.
This piece is enlivened by rhythms, I think - the rhythm of the roots, going into the dress pattern, the arms echoed by the bird then the tree, the verticals of the house/path/tree, and everything brought together in a big circle by the outer line of the cloak. I guess I'm just saying "nice composition"!
I love that Tree !! and the stunning detail on the dress, fantastic !
Awesome.. great light on the face and... ok, just splendid. *not constructive, who cares..*
It's technically outstanding how you have handled the fade of the bottom of the clothes.
I love the detail of the tree. It's a bit strange to see the tree growing on the path instead of the grass but it adds to the intrigue =]-
Wow! a marvellous rendition of the Irish Goddess, I especially like your intricate details, something the Celts where renowned for! lovely!
