AMAZING realism. First picture I've commented on in my entire night of art-browsing, because this seriously deserves it. That spark in his eyes... it's not just that they're glowing, it's the WAY... well, I can't express it. You just perfectly convey his darkly stalking mood, and her combination of trepidation and readiness to fight, whether it be with words or something else.

OH i FORGOT TRY A BIT OF GLARE ON THE HIGH LIGHTS OF THE GIRL'S FACE SINSE SHE IS IN THE FOREGROUND THIS WILL GIVE YOUR PICTURE A BIT MORE OF REALISM AND WILL MAKE YOUR MALE FIGURE LOOK MORE MISTERIOUS. EXP. NOSE LEFT CHEAK AND CHIN+ LEFT FOREHEAD IT MAY ALSO GIVE HER AN I'M SWETING LOOK. THIS IS NOT CRITISISM JUST A SUDGESTION ,GREAT WORK I'D LIKE TO SEE IF YOU CAN MAKE IT EVEN BETTER.

Great use of shadow and light. Although if you look close... He kind of resembles Anthony Michael Hall, From " the Dead Zone".

Guest's picture

I love this image of Linda! You captured her expression perfectly...and the texture on her jacket is freaking amazing.

baybeestar's picture

Thank you for the crits and encouragment Smile

Terrific- i really like the hair on the girl (Enayla i gess,). But, if i may; Her face looks sort of flat between and above the eyes- next time try to make a tiny bit more of a shadow defining the nose and edge of the forehead. Not that I could, but you know. But for someone with only a year's experience, you're learning incredibly fast! keep going!

Now I think I understand why all my pictures got rejected... I think I have to sit down and work a bit before they would be good enough so...

bcorbett67's picture

I really like the texture on the Jacket, and the overall realism you've captured. I guess Enayla is a popular model judging by some of the pics I've seen at GFXartist Smile

Guest's picture

the clothes and hair is awesome, my only suggestion is perhaps a little more texture to the skin.

baybeestar's picture

Thanks Christine! It was hard to make such a cutie spooky Smile

Art at its best.
