Artwork Description

This is my latest painting that is finished. I wanted to paint it a little rough, being a big fan of Frazetta and Bisley I've always enjoyed art that isn't overly smooth but actually looks painted... No references used here either...

I really like this artwork. It is very creative and I like the head he uses as his mace.

Thanks man, if i had models to pose for me i would use them... seems that most succesful artists have models and it saves you a great deal of time... problem would be to avoid that static look, Vallejo seems to fall into that pit frequently...

Brutal is the way to go, aye.. Smile This is painted on watercolorpaper. Just ordered me some gesso that i'm gonna prime the paper with, hoping to get some good texture effects...

Brutal and fierce. Sometimes reference just gets in the way. The texture of te ash in the background is pretty cool. Is this painted on paper?
