Artwork Description

'Then must I leave my own people, man of Gondor?' she said. 'And would you have your proud folk say of you: 'There goes a lord who tamed a wild shieldmaiden of the North! Was there no woman of the race of Numenor to choose?'' 'I would,' said Faramir. And he took her in his arms and kissed her under the sunlit sky, and he cared no that they stood high upon the walls in the sight of many. J.R.R. Tolkien: The Lord of the Rings, Book 6, Chapter 5: The Steward and the King

This piece holds such great beauty. I love the great detail of Eowyn and Faramir, with knowing that it's watercolor, it is such a wonderful work of art and I'm impressed.

I've seen some of your other paintings on various LOTR art related sites and I just want to say that you are extremely talented. I'm terrible with watercolors, so I always love seeing masterful images that some lucky people can create with watercolors - and yours are some of the best.

Plus, I'm absolutely enamored with your depiction of Faramir. Too bad your version of my favorite Captain couldn't be the movie version. Oh well, guess I'll just have to make more repeat visits to your images Smile I look forward to seeing more of your wonderful creations!
