This is personal project that took quite long in between everything else, was a really good learning experience, and probably filled my quota of drawing mossy rocks for 2 years in advance.
He's meant to be a shapeshifter, currently sporting a form suitable for long happy fluttering around and not a whole lot else - hence the peculiar proportions. The stuff wrinkled around his waist in a horrible mess is quite expensive clothing, and the patterns on the feet and hands are a way of promise to those he's been dealing with that there will be no further shapeshiftery shenanigans going on, as changing would obviously disrupt the markings. Given all that, he's a representative of some sort, taking a short break on the way back home. By the look of things, the journey was probably successful.
Corel Painter 9, Wacom Intuos 3, and I don't know and don't want to know exactly how long this took.
May be reposted for as long as my name and preferably also a link to my gallery are provided along with the image in a clear way. No modifications.
