Made from pencil work "Hyperdroid". This is like a sad post-apocalyptic vision about mankind.
that sorta remind me of the robots of dawn book cover
My first thought was that the creature in the image is a human who has been biomechnically altered so much that he isn't human at all. He (or she?) looks very organic.
Thanks Patrick! I highly appreciate your thoughts and judgement
Very nice piece... I hope we see some more from you soon!
kirsi - your fertile mind and uncommon skill distinguish your art and raise it above the norm... outstanding! [;-))
Thank you Marley.. I want to use rich textures to make my figures just as alive as possible without using 3D. It takes a lot of sweat and tears but after all it's all worth it .
My thoughts exactly! I wanted this to have some ethical, regretful perspective. Thanks so much for stopping by
Nice that you remembered . I just couldn't leave it as a pencil work, it had to be something greater. Personally this is very satisfying, because I almost precisely got the feeling and scenery as I imagined it.
Hi Kirsi,I remember this-you were watching Alien when you first did it in pencil. This reminds me of Michael Whelans Robots of Dawn, not in appearance, but in mood-Very nice!
Tom, I hope so too! Well, it's comforting that the end of the world doesnt happen in a week or so .
Thanks Jen! Nice to hear you like it as much as I do
this is impressive! the colors and textures are terrific, as well as the composition! outstanding work here!
Truly amazing textures here, lots of detail and the colours are great too! Nice composition, great work.
Your quite exceptional for interesting textures Kirsi.unique vision you have.I really appreciate the ambience.Nice work
Great texture work. This really does have that mellancholy feel to it. Pensive and reflective- almost regretful. I can all-too-well see it happening.
Nice work Kirsi, hopefully it wont come to this....
