Artwork Description

This image is made for a challenge at Itsartmag.com to a theme "Control of Nature".
--

Poem for the scene:
--

"oh, blue lotus,
oh, sad home of Ryujin,
father of Starlight and Moonshine;
gently floats Ra on his Sunboat as Vishnu cries over lands so dry,
blinded crows see no black and white,
as the Milky Way goes through this electronic night,
watching neighbour Andromeda
basking in a violent chemical radiant light.
--
Oh blue lotus;
the gentle breath of god,
don't let the boat of the Sun float too far,
we're awaiting on a shpere of dust,
wishing the world would never end at all."
--

Hope this complex piece will be interesting to look at and aspire your inspiration. It's a piece where historical leaders and modern faceless 'leaders' collide, sharing this massive home of countless workers, all hoping for the future to guide each of us to new stage of evolution. Nobody knows if that day will ever come this way.

thank you Fiz!! What a great supportive comment that was, much appreciated =)
btw, the masks are actually called 'plague masks' which were used by doctors during the plague and other spreading illnesses. The beak served as a good filter and the form was taken from Egyptian bird Ibis. Strange things happen in history all the time.
