Artwork Description

This work was inspired by Akira Kurosawa's Ran titled film. It is not really fantasy (it has some realistic history points and figures) but, i had this idea.
You can see here fighting three brothers, the tree different colors. The red, the yellow and the third (the youngest) brother, the blue. This poster (size is 100x70cm; B/1) was made for a study only. I made another version, with the same composition but in a "european" illustration style...

The drawing was made with pencil, the colors are aded with Photoshop.

I've always loved the older oriental style of doing things....*mostly because the fat, short horses* but you do a really great job of swapping from style to style. I liked the 'European' version a lot too.

Art at its best.
