The watercolor I do will never have the free and easy feel to it this one has. It does have a wonderful tranquility to it.

No digital stuff just black and white darkroom

Dude! You can do it all! I hadn't seen the watercolor stuff, only the moody digital stuff....nice technique!

It started as a weak watercolour painting. I added white to strenghten the contrast. Sometimes if that doesn't work: acrylic :then pastel. If that doesn't do it throw in the back of the closet for a couple of months then look at it. This piece is made up but I do paint outdoors during the summer.
Thanx

Hey, useing white isn't a mistake Smile Well, at least I don't think so. It really has a nice misty feel to it. Was this painted outdoors/on-site? You can feel the scenery, like it's a real place.

Thanx for the kind words. This is a bit of a cheat. When it didn't work as a pure watercolour I added white tempera paint for substance and cover over mistakes Ward

I love the feel of this piece! I am currently struggling with watercolor and hope to acheive at least a fraction of your ability with this medium one day. Can't wait to see your finished piece this is a study for!

This is a wonderfully atmospheric piece - and I envy you that you have a name that screams great artist Smile This is fantastic!

Art at its best.
