Artwork Description

This work is related to “In Praise of Universal Computation” and is inspired by the concept of "Total Information Awareness" a direct result of a perceived threat. Within this work, there is also a comment on the use of technology as a tool which contains a double edge. We are invited, seduced, and entranced by the promise that it holds but the change we experience as we integrate more fully comes at the cost of learning a new way of living. In this sense it make me consider, who is programming whom?

Nice as always. I think you should also upload Suburbs, that is IMHO your best work.

Heh heh! Ok David, what I was saying was that the brilliant rendering of the head turning suggests beautifully the 'awarness' element in your creation, and also your colour work is quite breathtaking!

Arrgh!
I think I destroyed your post James but thanks!

There's a definite allure to letting go and tumbling headlong into the data stream!

Thanks Grant. After all the blood & gore of the HPL stuff the pendulum is swinging back!

Thanks Ken. I am completely hypnotized by the majority of your work(watercolors esp.) & I've been a fan of yours for some time so I am digging the interaction Epilogue provides!

Hey thanks Steve. I have great respect for your work so that's quite a compliment!

Same comment as the other one...when so much digital work (especially photo driven) is dark and gloomy (and I don't mind that), this is a bright light...great stuff, and really nice design on this one.
