Artwork Description

Four point perspective, all six sides of the room are visible. This is the back cover for a book I illustrated called Spring on Winter Hill. It will be for sale soon I suppose by fall, published by imprint books.

Well, that's quite some perspective work! Must have taken ages with all the detail and measurements.

Thank you for the kind words. The whisps and white dots about the two Phaerie are embelished with airbrush. This effect can also be achieved with powdered salt and liquid latex. Regular salt creates too harsh an edge.

Wow! This is amazing! How do you get that glowing effect with watercolor? Gorgeous work, I love your technique (in all your pieces, but this one especially!)

That's quite a compliment. You are very generous.

Thanks Sean, Its not all that hard if you know the rules. I learned a real easy method.

Thanks again.

You are very kind. You can thank Dick Termes for the technique. If you have never heard of Termes Spheres you should investigate him.
