Artwork Description

This was inspired from a trip to San Francisco's chinatown. I create a surrealistic painting, but it wasn't deliberate. The whole image just seemed to evolve. The tattooing on the back was an excuse to play with the asian imagery that I have always been drawn too.

This is probably one of my favorite pieces in all of Epilogue. Do you sell prints at all?

Thank you. I'll have to check that book out.

You would like the book Golden Fool by Robin Hobb. There's a character in there that has a dragon tattoo that comes to life. She gets burns on her back from it. Cover has similar idea, but I like your interpretation much much better. The coloring and detail is just exquisit.

This is really great; very original. I love the detail you put into her tattoo. Excellent! Smile

Thanks. I had a lot of fun doing this. I guess this is my way of getting a tattoo without actually going through the process.
