Wow...she is so pretty. I love her costume. It's cool how she's so weird and creepy in such a pretty way...

Thanks so much, Jessica.

Beautiful! I gazed at her costume for so long! Her hands are my favorite part.

goddessart's picture

Why thank you so much! Ninthya (means 'eternal' in Sanskrit) is one of my favorites. Smile

I rarely find sculptures online that impress me, and I had decided it was because photos just couldn't do them justice. If that's the case with this piece, tho, it must be beyond words 'in person' because it certainly looks fabulous here. Smile I love her face, the position of her hands, her pose... And the costuming is gorgeous. Well done! Congratulations!

Thank you so much, J.P.! You're very kind.

I think this is one of my favorite sculpts...Ninthya is so incredibly eerie and beautiful. I love her long flowing headpiece. You truly captured her 'ghostliness' LOL

Hi Tania - just browed your gallery and must say beautiful work! My sculptures range anywhere from 5" to 38", though I prefer to work around 10" or so right now. They range in price from $500 to $3000, depending upon complexity...I sell to a small group of collectors, making the sculptures for myself really. They are all one of a kind. It is a passion.

Your work is amazing. How much do you sell your sculptures for and how big are they?

Ah Linda - high praise indeed from one of my all-time favorite artists! I am very, very grateful for your extremely kind words...if only I could paint like you do...your work is incredible, and that is an understatement.

I'd love to see you sculpt...I'm sure you could.

Really nice Rebecca , she fits the title perfectly, your sculptures are awesome....

Oh Theresa, thank you so much! Working with fabric in addition to sculpting can produce some cool results.

Your work inspires me to stretch out and try new things in sculpture! I love how she's spooky and beautiful at the same time.

Oh Iris, you are so very welcome! I look forward to seeing you sculpt. By the way, this polymer is Premo brand 'Translucent with Bleach'. That's what the clay is called, if you are interested in trying it. Thank you for the kind words regarding Ninthya. She is one of my favorites, and a multiple award winner.

Hi Rebecca, this is absolutely the most beautiful thing I've seen in days. This gives me so much inspiration for doing a sculpture myself. Thanks so much for helping me with the Super Sculpey question.

Alice, thank you so very much. I've just cruised your gallery, and I believe you would make an outstanding sculptor. Your work is stunning.

Rebecca, this is a beautiful sculpture, so many different materials!
I love it and i hope I get the chance to sculpt something one day.

goddessart's picture

Thank you Amy. I just visited your work, and admire it as well.

Hey James, thanks so much. She is one I don't really ever want to part with. Her name, Ninthya, means 'Eternal' in Sanskrit. She is a ghost coming back to her lover telling him that it won't be long until their wedding day...from 'She Came Through the Faire', which I listened to while creating her.

hunterhayley's picture

She is beautiful.
