Artwork Description

It's hard to keep the moats and canals clean. Luckily, there is also a robust market for dried algae and molds... for medicinal purposes only. And a slime collector with his own intelligent Domestic Salamander has an obvious advantage over the other collectors.

Hi Guest-
I use (pretty exclusively) Prismacolor pencils. And not their Verithins or ArtStix, just their basic artist-grade colored pencils. If you haven't used them, go get some NOW. If you have and want to know more about blending, check out the early issues (1-12) of my IMPrint newsletter at daviddeen.com/imprint.
And thank you for the compliments!

A truly masterful piece!
the time, effort and love spent on this is very evident.. and how you achieved this with coloured pencils is astounding!!
by the way.. what pencils did you use? All the coloured pencils i buy are crap at blending. Anyway..keep up the great work.

...from both a technical and creative aspect. Why this hasn't got more comments I don't know?

If I could do what you can with colored pencil....you certainly have more patience with this medium than me. Beautifully done. ^^
