STAR TREK!! how the hell did i miss this piece.I'm a BIG trekkie!!.looks like the star trek 6 cover.I wish we had star trek nights over here.anyways on a technical note, its superb, the colour palette is brilliant.and so is the enterprise haha!!.was the guache placed through an air brush??.Bloody nice piece.

thanks bill Smile --- hmmm some years ago as i did this one, but as i was a freelance illustrator this time and could paint the whole day - i think a week, to finish --- you have to know i am not the fastest painter - lool - oh and about the likeness, i never was happy with kirk, but the deadline forced me to finish it, and the client said it is ok as it is ---- but i am still not really happy with poor kirk Smile)

Star Trek was one of my all time favorites as a kid, and this is just great!!! The likenesses are all very good. I'm amazed at the quality of your gauche paintings, how long did this take you to complete Uwe?
