As I said – It’s up to the viewer – and you are right I didn’t mention the gender, so if you see two males that’s what you “read” in this picture and it’s very interesting. Whatever you see in this picture and whatever it means to you, it is a honor to me to have some people really looking at my art and trying to find a story/meaning in it.
Thank you so much for your very encouraging comment, feedback like this is what really makes me go on and continue to create art – thank you so much!!!!
All the very best to you

Uwe, I'm not an artist, just an awestruck observer...but after going through less than half of your gallery for the first time, I HAD to comment on this picture. The contrast between these two beings, is almost painful to look at...but the tenderness between them is so tangible, I can't look away. I know you didn't mention the gender of the angel, but didn't you once say "it's always up to the viewer"? I see two males here. I hope that doesn't offend you, but to me it's a breathtaking notion. Smile And I'm stunned by the fact that by showing only the hair and shoulders of the angel, you manage to give the impression of indescribable beauty! I don't even need to see his face to know it. I'm going back to continue through your gallery now. I have a feeling I could spend long stretches of time there. lol Please keep them coming, Uwe. You're incredibly gifted and very attractive, too. Wink Jill

Thanks Heiko, ummm workaholic, let’s see, 9 to 11 hours work at the agency, coming home, eating and all the stuff, and another 8 to 10 hours work illustrating, 2 to 4 hours sleep and the same thing day after day (no joke btw.). NO, no workaholic…

Hmmm, if I would put half as much energy in any other job I bet I would be rich, but , oh well, I choose to be an artist, so I’m still poor and will be till I die Sad. Can any one tell me what it is that makes an artist go on, it definitely can’t be the money :-? (Would be an interesting thread in the forum)

However, thanks for your comment my friend!!!

Yes it is sad that the whole amount of work does not show online, all the little things that makes an artwork really interesting is lost – but hey there’s always the possibility to buy a print and see all the detail Wink.
