Artwork Description

The magical toad. Felt like drawing a funny frog and a skull, here you are. If anyone can think of a story for the picture, please illuminate us.

This is my first picture to epilogue, and I'm quite excited by this. I'm eager to hear tips from anyone willing to share.

Yes, the trees are painted. A very painstaking process I might add, you'll most likely see more stylized trees from now on.

their once was a frog named mog, who enjoyed sitting on a log. Alas he was nearsighted, and did not realize that had alighted atop the skull of the wizard rawg. Now doomed to sit forever and where a funny hat, the moral of this story I'm sure must be, pity the frog, and pity me for making this pitifull story...

Ville your idea for a story is great!I love the idea of a frog inside a wizards skull ! Why don't you write it? (persephone)

Hey, I'm nobody's persephone! Wink

Maybe the frog lives in the skull? And the skull is an enchanted wizard's skull. And maybe the frog is actually the wizard's old familiar! Hmmm...

Ah ha very good point Ville regarding the clothing of a shape-shifter.(after some moments of pondering here goes)The cap the frog is wearing is enchanted and follows the transformations regardless as it is part of the regalia of his kind but it can be rendered invisible with special enchantment....as to clothing when in human form the shape shifter usually uses a glamour spell to appear as if he or she is wearing garments when in actuality they are naked.Real clothes must be acquired if the weather is cold enough to require it( or alternatively depending on the range of beasts available according to the personal abilities of the shape -shifter it may be easier to transform into some furred creature than to purchase clothes)....incidently your art work has really stimulated my own creativity.I feel really inspired ! Ooh, shapeshifters. But does he need to wear clothes, or can he shapeshift them too?

Such a shame you couldn't finish it, it started so well.

This is brilliant and beautifully executed .The word-play adds to the fantastic world you have opened a window to.I As to a story(takes deep breath) I see the frog as the last entity of an ancient order of shape-shifting wizards "The Saminads".This frog named Sam-ra sits on the skull of his brother Sam-Kel who was killed in his human guise ,seduced by a beautiful but deadly witch Wynnhindryn who hoped that a child by him would prove the key for the power to open the nether gates of the Forbidden kingdom (where mortals live and the boundary of magic is unknown). The shape-shifters spirit resides still in his bones as he was sent to death before his time.He communes with his brother fuelled by desire to have revenge and also to assist in the quest to have the child of his deadly union returned .The child is rumoured to have the ability to cross the barriers of life and death at will and in any form.*that was fun!*(persephone_abc@hotmail.com)

Dark clouds swirled over head, throwing a purple streak of electricity every once in a while. It was under this sky that two sorcerers argued. Who would rule this castle, neither could decide. It was one or the other but could not be both. Being young and nieve, the other, in a fit of rage, gathered all his powers and those of the storm, and banashed his older colleague to life in his garden as a frog. The attack was quick, allowing the older one no time to avoid this onslaught. But as we all do after havings wrong done to us, he had plenty time for his anger to fester. Although he was a frog he could still improve his powers. And improve he did. Several years later he knew he could cast down the young ruler with a flip of his slimy paw. He did not, but instead used his powers to influence the forest. For years he moulded it and carressed it until finally everything in the forest was in his small, but iron grip. He was now ready. Armed with immense powers and a now vast forest, he called to the young king's subconscious. Now you see, the young ruler was indeed nieve, and had grown weak, fat, and lazy. There hadn't been a threat to his kingdom, not once. Who would dare to challenge one who threw down such a great so

sry bout that thing befor
In a forest far away there are kings.of all different kinda of animals. Most are enchanted.but one in particular, the frog, hated the scrummy old forest.so then he went to an old part of the forest. desiding what to do.when he came along a skull.it looked pretty old since it was decaying.he got the kings of the forest and broguht them to that spot, where they were astonished to see it.the frog explained that the forest was old, too old, and people come in here and die. also when the people come in they squish our beautiful food and scenery!the other animals agread that of what the frog said. and they decided to clean up the forest and keep people out of the it,even if that meant killing them. but they keep that skull there to remind them.THE END
