Artwork Description

My introduction to the fantasy genre was Leiber. I read Tolkien (I felt obligated), but I preferred a lived-in setting with a little more human scale to it. Oh, and a pair of appealing degenerates were cool too. A character study of the taller one. Pencil rendering painted using Photoshop.

I *do* look like this--only *more* barbaric! Lol!

Seriously... I look little like this guy--except the beard.

It may be a while, but I have a sketch or two. We'll see...

You already know I like this. Wink He got mirrored since the last time I saw him and you changed the decoration on his clothing to look like stamped leather. Cool. Maybe it's because this was the first male portrait I saw from you, but I sort of imagine you to look like this, just perhaps less... barbaric. Wink

Am I the first one to post a comment? Cool. Anyway, I dig it. It's sweet. In a really cool kinda way, of course. He kinda has that I've seen hard times, but I still rock" look. It might be just my imagination, though. Good work.

Art at its best.
