I don't get what the one guest is talking about...wasted space...take a look at some of valejo and julie Bell's work.....tons of space in some of their art...sometimes it implies loneliness and sadness like you wanted..I love this piece just the way it is!

YOu have captured the sadness so well.. Love it!

yeah, she really look sad and her eyes!

this...is ...yours? M'Gods! Perhaps my reaction to this wouldn't be this acute if it didn't hold an uncanny resembalance to a lady we knew. She fit the name. and the face IS her.

Beautiful my Brother.

Peace.

The sadness in her eyes nearly brought me to tears. She looks like she's carrying the weight of the world on those frail shoulders. Absolutely beautiful, Mol!

I love your use of space - you've almost made it so the viewer is drawn directly to her eyes. The colours you chose and the shadows are absolutely spot on. Definitely a thumbs up.

She's absolutely hauntingly beautiful...great work, as usual, mol! Laughing out loud ~Jenne

Wow. She's a bit like the anti-Mona Lisa. Instead of wondering what is making her hide her smile, I wonder what has put her on the verge of tears. Very haunting and desolate. I like it a lot - Kathleen (Briar Rose)

i wish there weren't so much wasted space in the picture.

Love her expression! Very evocative and haunting. I could look at her for a very long time and not grow tired of her, which is what a painting should do, right? Keep up the good work--Calyx
