Artwork Description

Aurora is magical on it's own, but I thought I would give it a new life with this painting.

This is one of the coolest dragons i've ever seen! Love it! Thanks for sharing your talent:) Heather from FL

Thanks! This piece came to life almost on it's own. It started as a green ray moving across the sky, then it formed wings and then a dragon's head emerged.

Thanks, Marie! You've been so helpful with all of your support and suggestions in the WIP forum. Thanks again!

Thank you very much, Wendy!

Hey Marley -- thanks for the compliment! I also like to see multi-colored aurora, but this was a representation of the color I most often see -- green. Stay tuned for the next painting...it will have more color. Smile

Congrats on getting accepted! Not many people would even dare trying to do an aurora, or aurora dragon for that matter, but you have and pulled it off really nicely.

Woo hoo! You got it in. I love the lighting in this piece; auroras are just the coolest. Great job on the water!

This is a gorgeously ethereal picture, Jessica. And, I think, a very original concept.

Well done and congrats.

hey thats special!!,aurora is very magical,we do get some down here in new zealand but mostly in the south island(and on very very rare occasions).i'd love to see these in real life(auroras i mean). But this is quite a refreshing image.Would have been nice to see the odd tone of purple/red in there just to break the somewhat monotone feel of it,but still great work regardless Smile.

Art at its best.
