this picture is simply brilliant
this man represents my dreamworlds
I like the rustic iron border.
I'm not sure if I'm reading too much into this, but the far panel on the left is very simple, with a being of stone--the past? After all, it seems ancient, and sacred. The second panel is wider, and is less simple, the earth is sculpted more, and the view is wider--the present? And there is a man, which represents the race of man inhabiting the land, and it is wider, because our extent of knowledge about the present is fuller. The third pannel on the far right--the future? The atmosphere is as busy as ever, and the boat which had settled is taking off, and I don't think the absence of another character makes the drawing unbalanced, I think it represents the unknown. Am I right?
I think there is a third person in the third panel...it's the skull and the tools left behind. In the second panel, it's the man, and in the third, it's the winged statue. I like it...very interesting idea.
This is a wonderful picture, but I really think it would be so much better if you had a third character sitting in the right panel. I know it probably has some meaning behind it, but for me it completely unbalances the piece.
