Thanks, Dewyne - matter of fact that's something I've been meaning to do ever since I started making these things, to rig one up out of foam latex or some such, with an animation-armature built in so I can stop-motion the heck out of it - maybe I'll make that my next year's resolution, or at least move it nearer to the top of my things-to-do list...

I really love your work, it needs to be turned into a stop-motion movie. Love it!

- thanks much - still one of my favourites too, partly at least due to the fact that he's one of my first - anthropomorphically speaking, anyway...

Definitely my favourite of all your sculptures. And that's not just because I love badgers, heh heh. It's so realistic, and the weapons are excellent. Yup, definitely one of the best.

- sorry, belated response brought on by an epilogue-distrusting firewall - but yup, Brock is the auld english badger - matter of fact I live near a place called Broxholme, which was named for the fact it used to have a huge gang of badger setts around there...

- hi, sorry for the long response to your question of - hmm, five months ago (!) - unintentional bad manners brought about by a firewall programme that rarely lets me get in here: but anyway - I do hear a lot about Redwall, honestly though I'd never seen anything of it before I made this critter - and Brock is just the old english for badger, which is where I got the name...

Guest's picture

this guy reminds me of the Redwall series. But brock is also another name for badger up in England, isn't it?

I just have to ask: is this character from Brian Jacques' Redwall? Because I've read most of his books, and the name Brock sounds possibly familiar, not to mention the way he looks as well. Not to put you down, but just wondering..

awesome, kind of makes me wonder what my ferrets would look like if they ever took up weapons.

thanks Carmen, glad you like him - it's kinda what I figured a bader would look like stood up, they're pretty hefty critters even in real life, so I think the bulk suits him...

great sculptures! love'em all!

Hi Rebecca, thanks for that - I've just been updating the info on the pics, so the details should be up any second soon...

haha great job! it's very convincing-looking, plus badgers are some of the best animals ever. I like how this one has a burly muscular body but it's still got the badgery cuteness in the face.

Wonderful sculpture! What is the medium? What size? I look forward to many more!

Art at its best.
