Great composition and action, neat composition, the Kraken if ever anyone drew him!
absolutely brilliant, best painting of a Leviathan I've ever seen, i would hate to be the ones in the mini-sub! absolutely marvelous, well thought out, like the fact it sleeps by a wreck (which I'm guessing it sank)
I have to know - what is the little submarine/spaceship-looking thing hovering just to the left and above the monster's eye?
dudes Leviathan isn't that that is more like the Kraken
hmm... i thought Leviathan was a whale.
THE CLOSEST ART WORK IVE SEEN TO FRANK IN ALONG TIME,I WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE
Incredible size and scale in this! frightening!
flippin heck, the scale of that beast is most impressive .that is real good work.
Very nicely done. Welcome to Epi.
So beautiful Richard - but of course you now I love this piece, having the pleasure of seeing it in person at GenCon Indy, wasn't it?
Great energy and vitality to this piece... moody and atmospheric... nice work!
Excellent, Richard! a modern day "20,000 leagues" nicely detailed, and the colours are so good!
the ship depicted here was based on a model of the lusitania, another famous wreck.
Richard, wonderful tones and movement. The yellow around the eye is just enough to attract the center of attention.
The violence of movement is captured and displayed so well with your brush strokes. My hat is off and staying there.
Is the ship in your peice the Titanic?
Ken took the words right put of mouth. It has a powerful presence, this creature!
Beautiful image...the scale is fantastic and I love the luminescent yellow around his eyes...wow!
