Artwork Description

Colored Pencil and Acrylic. Older illustration but worth showing.
Within her sacred grove, Hecate, the patron goddess of life and death, guides the soul and seeker through their journey as she dances near her sacred bonfire at Samhain. The triple goddess is represented by the figure and the two faces present on the pillars.

A lovely subtle interpretation, Matt! beautifully detailed pencil work and wonderful colours!

I like the fact that she has the body of an average woman. She's beautiful that way.

Notice the heads on each pillar (reference to the 3 heads). I decided on a more attractive representation ;P

Great piece of work, it's not too dark and you did a fantastic job on those pillars. As a piece of fantasy it's great - in terms of the actual goddess, a little questionable. "Hecate was not a beautiful scantily-clad maiden dancing through the flowers with elves and faeries. She had three heads."

All those little details!!! And the colors!!! I am missing words to describe, how wonderful it is!
