Cool! Great colouring.
Hey, cool. My name is Alida. Who'd of thought. lol.
Thank you! It was a leap into new territory for me, with the strong light and shadow, and capturing the texture of stonework.
Brilliant colour pencil work, Alida! the details and shade effects are quite stunning! love this!
The monkey was awfully fun for me too. I used a Capuchin monkey for a model, though I had to create the pose myself. I guess they're good at keeping their tricks off camera.
Thanks. I really enjoyed playing with the hard light slicing across the bottom, and it was a trick getting all the various light sources in order, but I really enjoyed the challenge.
I like how a number of your pieces include these little humourous bits. I love the lighting and texturing, but what really does it for me is that monkey about to make off with the offering fruit!
Great texturing and use of light. Really nice work with colored pencil.
