Artwork Description

Ah this pic got me first palce in the Dec Woodworks somehow. Took me just under a week so its about my usual time and I know they are certain bodges I have made BUT considering I only had reference when doing Feather Dancer's head then couldn't find it for the rest was pretty good. My other excuse is that Feather Dancer is a horse and they are such a pain in the neck to draw for most.

Thankies much even if rather belatedly Smile Yeah back then he did have the feathering of say shire horses but this ahs since been altered on the design. That head thing would be the mane, another design quirk made it stretch that far over now where it disappears into the body at the base of the neck. Hope this explains it Laughing out loud

It just takes a stupid amount of eyars with that evil word called practice, tehre is never a point where you can stop learning and sit back Smile Thankies much belatedly.

Nah it's just a design quirk of Feather Dancer that I love to much to get rid of Smile Thankies much belatedly.

Thankies much belatedly Smile I was still using pencil and paper until a very recent scare away from tradtional artwork. I'll be back to it again soemtime I'm sure.

Belatedly thankies much, hopefully since then I've improved somewhat Smile

That is actually a design quirk of feather Dancer, yes it does look odd I admit but I love it too much to stop Smile

Thankeis much, albeit belated Smile

Looking back now, the quality is still there but the anatomy is very ouch Smile I will always been uploading things to my DA gallery first seeing as I don;t always feel my artwork has the quality for this website. However, despite my severe belatedness, thank you much for the comment Smile

this is amazing. I have the hardest time with fethered wings. (and still I draw angels and winged creatures) The details are amazing. I don't see the claws either it's arms and legs end in a lot of fur I think, and what's that thing on it's head that has a tail? Well anyway very, very good work and I love the shading.

It's *totally* deserving of winning that first place! ^__^ This is absolutely beautiful, I *love* the wings and the design in itself. You've captured a real sense of majesty and beauty, and a whole lot of movement along with it! Smile Great work and great shading - I hope you have more art up soon!

Art at its best.
