Artwork Description

A minotaur guarding a torchlit cave.
I´ve changed the colors so many time in this piece. From bright pastelcolors to this one wich I prefer.

I always think minotaurs are hard to get just right, because bovine heads always look cute and friendly, whereas a minotaur has to be a mean mofo. The raised nose and squared off snout work really well here. He looks sufficiently pissed off - probably because he's guarding a bunch of rocks Smile

Wow. Excellent use of colours, especially on its head. Nice contrast and focus there. The tattoo looks a little like an afterthought, and in my opinion it should follow its muscles more, correcting the perspective and angle.

Fantastic piece, the colours are just great. Nose seems a little wrong, but that is a minor minor point!!!

Well done! ~ Ogrebear
