Artwork Description

This was done just for excercise. I conjured up a title that I thought you'd see on an old sci-fi paperback from the 50's and painted a cover for it. I sort of pretended that the publisher couldn't afford Frazetta and found some other guy (me) to do it and said "paint it like that Frazetta guy." Lotta fun.

Love the story behind the painting!!! You have a great, illustrative style, and a level of detail that I covet. I think I should take a leaf from your book when it comes to conjuring up backgrounds that interact completely and complexely with my characters. And...the ACTION!!!

When I first found Epilogue your "Windmill" was the first piece I clicked on; I knew there were some seriously sharp artists here after seeing that. Glad you dig the ape.

That's quite a gallery you have! Thanks for taking the time to track me down. I'm hoping to put something up every week or two to try to catch up to some of you.

I must confess the undo key took a beating while I worked on that smoke.

Wooo - that Ape character kicks ass! And you really did get the old "pulp" feel overall. This is really eye-catching.
