Here, the five year old Aydendour princess, Atylena, plays with her house gryffon. He's three months old, and just learning how to take care of his wings. Soon he'll be able to take flight, and soar about the palace... While the princess gets a scolding for letting him escape from his cage once again.

Hey, there, Hannah! Thanks so much for your comment. I'm glad you were finally able to see it, and happy that you like it so much. Yes, Atylena loves her gyrffon quite a bit, and she always has fun playing with him. It's important to bond with your gryffon early on, and I'd say she's doing a fine job of it. Thanks for stopping by. I'll see you soon.

Tim -
I've wanted to see this picture for a long time, and now I've fallen in love with it.
That little girl and her gryffon are so adorible. She looks like she's having a world of fun, and I can't look at that grin without smiling. Her hair is really cool too.
Well, I could ramble on about this picture for a long time...absolutely wonderful.

Well...I've finally gathered enough courage to leave a comment. I love it, as usual. Splendid job on the hair, the feathers, and everything else! Can't wait to see more! Rachel

Well, you can thank Angus for me for giving me his opinions. They're well received. I had to clean off all the soot, but they're well received.

I spent lots of time on the hair for this one. I really wanted to add motion to the picture, and I think wind just about does it every time.

I meant to type "acceptable", but it is hard to type with a dragon breathing in your ear.

Thanks for the dedication! I love it! (Angus says he thinks gryphons are "acceptabe"...if you can't get a dragon. He's such an egoiste.) Sometime you have to tell me how you do hair...and jewelry. Love the tiara.
Cheers! Dawn

Very fun picture. I love the feeling of momentum it captures. Great job! I anticipate to seeing more of your art in the near future.

Excellent job on the hair. Her hair and tiara remind me of Zelda.

Also, poor gryffon! I've seen kids hold kittens like that and it makes me shudder.

Very warm and inviting to look at. Great job on the carefree expression you created on her. The lighting is well don as well. From Agudo the Art Lover.

Art at its best.
