Artwork Description

A strange sensation came over Red Ridinghood as she walked. She was unsettlingly aware of someone, or something, watching her. The short hairs on her neck and arm stood up as she continued down the trail past the berry patch.
For Rachel. Always watch your back.

The background is really what took the most time. I spend a bit of time pondering how I would accomplish it, but it turned out to be simple. Simple, and time consuming. Ooh, now your'e grading my work. ;-D It's acctually my current favorite too. Thanks again for stopping by, and leaving SOOO many comments!

Hey, Rachel!
I'm glad you like it. I tried to make he wolf really scary, and not entirely wolfish. I wanted to give him a more intellegent glare. I'll probably post a detailed version of him soon.
The bg was quite tedious, but it all paid off I think. I do especially like the berries, and the bushes. I was happy when I figured out how I would do them.
Anyway, I plan to keep up the work, and I'm trying to prepare something that I can post soon. Cheers!

Well, I am very honored. And if I wrote down all the things that I love about this picture... I'd be here forever. Wink Her expression is perfect, the brooch is beautiful, and the wolf is...well, not something I'd ever want to meet. And his eyes glow! Very cool.
The backround is great too. I love the berry patch. Smile
Well, I think I'll just sit here and look at it for a while. Keep up the good work! I can't wait to see more!

Thanks for stopping by, Beth. Maybe you should make a brooch like that.
Actually, it has alot of signficance to the story. The brooch is in the design of three mistletoe, which is a werewolf repelant. This is one reason why the wolf doesn't eat her on sight.
Well, I'm glad you left a comment. Thanks, and I'll kee pyou posted for new artwork.

I seem destined always to leave two comments on your epilogue work. I forgot to sign the other one! Cheers!

Tim this is gorgeous! One of your best I've seen. Her face is so well done in expression and execution. Wonderful background, too. A+, my new favorite!

Eerie, beautiful - even if I didn’t know the story, your picture would tell it. The brooch is photographically realistic and I love the design. Keep up the good work. ~ Beth
