Artwork Description

That feeling of being underwater is what I tried to capture in this work. Using strong, nearly monochrome color and careful attention to contrast, helps make this one of my most popular images.

It is a very good painting... i especially like your bakground...but the mermaids tail looks stiff as if she's died and has gone into rigor mortis lol maybe next time try to make her more flexible!

Woah, dayamn. Fricking amazing brutha!

You have an amazing gift for not just detail, but so many different colors used. It almost reminds me of some of the Impressionists, especially the bottom. Good work man.

I do feel like I am underwater, it's splendid. I feel I could almost reach out to her, the colors are marvelous, I am absolutely taken aback at how well these seemingly monochromatic colors can contrast, it's just wonderful.

Love the detail, wonderful work.
Has an amazing feel.
Just constructive criticism on the mermaid's tail, it is a little stiff, and perhaps if it were a little more flowing she would look more lifelike.
But tail or no tail, this underwater scene is the best I've ever laid eyes on.

it surely does feel like being underwater just by looking at the picture. I can even hear the murmuring.

Art at its best.
