Artwork Description

This piece was created in response to many requests for me to create another lesbian/ faerie piece, Pheyr & Eis being my first foray into such images. The Kanji that is under the Geisha on the left says "Geisha", under the one on the right says "Fairy", the remaining Kanji says, from left to right, "Beauty", "Passion", "Desire", "Elegance", and "Beloved". This piece was created using Prismacolor Markers and colored pencils, graphite and white charcoal on Canson Felt Grey paper. Update: This piece was selected for inclusion in Aphrodisia II: The Art of the Female Form to be released this November

I purchased this piece at San Diego Comicon.

Thanks for the comments. I actually did research on Geishas before I produced this piece, so I am well aware that they are not whores.

Beautiful painting. The fans for "wings" are quite clever. Love the tatoos You should know, however, Geishas were not wh*res. They were entertainers. You could buy their virginity, but they weren't wh*res!
