Artwork Description

My half of an exchange with a fellow artist on deviantART, this was my re-interpretation of the rebirth of a phoenix based on Eucalyptus trees, which are everywhere here in Australia. Eucalypts, such as the Candlebark, are highly flammable and are effective fuel in a bushfire - but the fire does not destroy the tree, instead quickening its regeneration. Cool beans, I've got my very own phoenix tree in my backyard! ^__^
I'm not very happy with the way the frame turned out in this image, I shouldn't have destroyed the ink outlines because it did use to be symmetrical! *Hits herself* X__X Anyway, the phoenix tree was coloured with ink (for the shading) and Prismacolour pencils. Background done in Paintshop Pro 5.

Man this picture is cool but it's quiet bizzar I don't exactly see what it has to do with a phoenix. Any way can you plz send an e-mail explaining to K9_DBZ@hotmail.com
