i like how you make her a hot Warrior Chick . good job !

This is just plain awesome. The background being in such neutral shades draws your eye right to the masterpiece of the girl that you drew. Her expression is ideal, and the clothing is wonderful. I like the idea of putting the info about her on the wall to, it's just a little hard to read but I can make out the most of it. I showed this to my boyfriend and he said that I needed an outfit like that. In his dreams, but you rock ^_^
Also, I love the detail you put into the arrows, dagger, and boots. And the skin tone and shadowing is superb Smile

wow!!
ever think of being a game charater developer, cause u rock.

Guest's picture

*groal* Very nice - love her expression.

i loved this artwork. couldn't help coming back to it again and again. i'v never played d&d myself, but she reminds me of a character i made up for a story i'm writing. and don't beat yourself up over the background, the girls the main focus of this piece background becomes superflous compared to her

Guest's picture

Its me again asking about the girl who played your character and well i saw her playing it again..anyway
Your most welcome and wow your gallery is amazing good job. Don't give up.

wow...........

Wow, I love your art work!

Actually, I do mind if someone uses my artwork without at least (you know, it's quite difficult to keep track of thefts on the internet) crediting me as the author. But I'm quite new to stealing a character completely.
I'm pleased when someone finds my artworks interesting, of course, but I just find disturbing being robbed like this.
Thank you for letting me know of this.

Guest's picture

ok, maybe the background isn't well done, but the subject of the work more than makes up for it...she's gorgeous...I have no talent for drawing, but mayhap you could help me with a few characters I've got, if you do commissions

darkmartin's picture

Hmmm... you may be right on some of those issues, but I think that every pic, when analized in detail, has come weaknesses. I don't think the anathomy of this one is particularily wrong, so it would be nice to hear the rest of your comment. I think that the main problem could be her feet; as for her left breast being larger, it is actually covered by her corset, which being rather loose is not completely attached to her skin...
Anyway, thanks for commenting, and for the critics, which are always interesting to hear!

I think there are many of us out there, drawing their D&D character to make them come alive, and it's always nice to see their interpretation. As for the character class, she's a human archer (quite simple, uh?)
The fact is that the campain never got much off the ground, so we're still in the first dungeon (no opportunity for fancy magical stuff or character development =/)
Thanks for the comment!

Wow . . . that's impressive. I have been drawing my own character in Dungeons and Dragons and I think it is wonderful to see someone else doing so as well! Good Luck! But tell me; this young yonder lass's character class. Is she a bow fighter, a ranger, or something I'm not? By the way, my character is an elven druid male with silver blue hair cloaked with Wings of Flying and a +3 Scythe of Icy Burst. Very fun. Wink

Expression is great, excellent detail and use of color to portray mood. The cape is weak compared to the intricate detail of her clothes and body. Also her blade is weak and looks like it wouldn't cut anything or has cut anything in long time. Her chest looks fine until it is further scrutinized, her left breast is considerably larger than her right. Her right leg is correct but

You are such a talented artist Martino! I was reading a previous comment from a viewer of this drawing, stating a few critical comments. I'm very impressed by the way you responded to thier critisim!!! Very mature and respectful. Your work is so beautiful and I love your awesome technique with faces and clothing.

Keep up the good work,Virginia

Wow I love this picture. It is colored perfectly for a sexy slash pro archer. I noticed you put wording into the background. I couldn't work out the wording exactly but it looks like to me the girl in the picture is dead?

Guest's picture

"I think it's a little archtypical of a D&D Character.... perhaps a bit TOO scant with the clothing. Get more creative."

Do you have a problem with sexy scantly clad women.
The picture is excellent. One question is, What class is she.

Guest's picture

incredible. the over all picture is wonderful. granted the floor has something to be deisred but you can say its sand no big deal. i have noticed noone meantioned the belly button ring. love that detail and the muscle tone and the eyes. god them eyes are great. again nicely done.

Guest's picture

woah! she's awesome! she has so much attitude and sexyness.

Guest's picture

damn she is gorges i can star at her for ages

Guest's picture

The Best tummies draftsman i'ever seen!
And the dagger's Blade is nice too...

(It's a Pity that in the other works are so few tummies...)

Guest's picture

It looks like you spent a lot of time and focus into the eyes ((which I love by the way)) Wink

Guest's picture

This is AWESOME. As for the background, it looks as if you were only trying to make your character the main focus of the painting. Doesn't look too shabby!!! Simply amazing!!! I love it!!!

Guest's picture

Your character is proportioned very nicely. I like the way her breasts don't take up the whole picture like they do on SOME characters I've seen... However, despite the skill at which you execute such a work of art, I think it's a little archtypical of a D&D Character.... perhaps a bit TOO scant with the clothing. Get more creative.

Guest's picture

Speechless.....all I can say is...AMAZING...I love it! Very creative, and like others have said, I love the backround as well! Nicely done!

darkmartin's picture

Yeah, and it also has a very low ecumberance and weight, allowing the character to gain agility and carry more treasure! hehe Wink

darkmartin's picture

I'm glad you liked the character.
I'm still trying to improve in painting backgrounds, and I agree that the floor is rendered poorly. I put a lot of effort in coloring the wall, tho. I hope I'll achieve more balance next time.
Thanks for your comment.

Guest's picture

Wow. Awesome. The background is a little .. don't know the word, but it gives the character more spunk. She's a beautiful character with a sense of danger. Very Good. I can't wait to see more.

Guest's picture

Love this one... the colour and shades are wonderful, and the character too.
Go go go!!! ^_^

Armor!? Who needs armor when ya got a +5 lace top of warding. HAH.

Monsters can't attack if they can't stop drooling.

Seriously, though. Great picture.

Art at its best.
