Artwork Description

The sacred "Tancho" of Japan. At one time it was punishable by death to kill a crane. Only the emperor had the authority to do so.
I've donated this piece to a gallery art auction for October of this year. We'll see how it goes.

What a wonderful touch you have with the pencils. You've managed to include contrast and details without losing the overall sense of soft lighting. Really nice work!

I appreciate a complement from such a talented artist. I've just visited your gallery and it's quite impressive.

Beautiful drawing. I hate to say this, but I ate a fried crane once, tasted like chicken..... Just kidding heh heh.

Art at its best.
