Holy pensioners, that's good. Oils? Even more impressive - tafkat (who will likely never be able to use oils like this even if he was immortal)

I use Alkyds(fast drying oils) which dry in 1 hour, unlike normal oils. Painted in the same way as if i was using Guage, on normal unprimed watercolour board.

Great job! I cringe at myself saying this because I hate it when people do it to me, but he looks like the illustrator Tom Allen, who was also my professor. He'd probably get a kick out of this pic!

I love the detail though.
